For the second innings in a row, England batter Jonny Bairstow was bamboozled by an Indian spinner in the first Test. In the first innings, it was Axar Patel's unplayable delivery that outfoxed Bairstow. In the second innings, Bairstow was undone by a brilliant delivery from Ravindra Jadeja. Thinking the ball was going to turn away from him, Bairstow decided to leave Jadeja's delivery but it ended up coming in and shattered his stumps. The look on Bairstow's face explained how he fell for Jadeja's plot.
Bairstow, batting on 10 runs from 23 balls, completely failed to read Jadeja's delivery. The 24th ball of his innings turned out to be the one that sent him back to the dressing room. Here's the video:

England looked to have started well, standing at 113 for 1 at one stage but Ben Duckett's dismissal triggered a mini-collapse for the tourists. Adding another 50 runs to the total, England lost 4 more wickets. Ben Stokes was the last England batter to depart before the match headed into Tea, with the team's score reading 172/5.
With half of the England team already back to pavilion, India took a gigantic step towards wrapping up the match inside 4 days and securing a 1-0 lead in the series.
Earlier, in reply to England's first innings total of 246, India were all out for 436 in the morning session on Saturday. At Tea, England trail India by 18 runs.
Resuming at overnight 421 for seven, Jadeja (87 off 180 balls) and Axar Patel (44) shared 78 runs for the eighth wicket to hand India a big 190-run first innings lead over the visitors.
At the tea break, Ollie Pope and Ben Foakes were batting on 67 and 2 respectively.
