South Africa defeated the West Indies by 40 runs on an eventful third day of the second and final Test on Saturday to extend their dominance over the Caribbean side. Set a challenging target of 263 after fast bowler Jayden Seales ' Test-best figures of six for 61 dismissed the Proteas for 246 in their second innings in the morning session, the home team lost wickets at regular intervals to be dismissed for 222. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has made it mandatory for all the centrally contracted players, who are fit and off national duty, to participate in domestic cricket. Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer are the ones who have already been at the receiving end of the Board's fury for not playing domesic cricket when possible. The two players were excluded from the list of central contracts that was announced by BCCI earlier this year as they missed out on domestic games despite being fit and also away from international circuit. Both Iyer and Kishan are part of the upcoming Duleep Trophy that is set to start on September 5. Trouble In PBKS? Report Claims Preity Taking Legal Route On Fellow Co-Owner

Are Punjab Kings going through a problem? A recent report by Cricbuzz has raised a speculation that all is not right among the IPL team owners. Bollywood actor Preity Zinta, industrialists Mohit Burman and Ness Wadia are the co-owners of the franchise. The report has claimed that Preity Zinta has filed an appeal in the Chandigarh High Court seeking to restrain co-owner Mohit Burman from selling a portion of his shares to another party. The report also said that Preity holds 23 per cent share of PBKS while Mohit Burman has 48 per vent. Ness Wadia has 23 per cent. The remaining shares are held by Karan Paul.  The report further said that Preity Zinta's court appeal is regarding the Burman's reported plans to sell part of his shares. Burman has denied the speculation. "I don't have any plans to sell my shares," Burman told Cricbuzz.
